Wow! That was a surprise, Australia collapse and England win the 1st Vitality T20 International. Fantastic cricket. ๐Ÿ

England 162-7 in their T20 innings. Reachable for Australia. ๐Ÿ

Some great batting from Dawid Malan in the 1st England v Australia T20. England donโ€™t look like setting a high enough score to win though. ๐Ÿ

England v Pakistan first T20 match is underway at Old Trafford. Really surprised that the weather has stayed good enough - there was no hope for the Glamorgan v Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast T20 here last night. ๐Ÿ

Glamorganโ€™s first home game of the recently started cricket season - Glamorgan v Gloucestershire at Sophia Gardens in the Bob Willis Trophy. No spectators, but at least thereโ€™s live streaming on YouTube. ๐Ÿ

Pakistanโ€™s bowling attack is looking sharp. England 12-3 after 5.3 overs. ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ v ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ 1st Test, Day 2 ๐Ÿ

Cricket has lost the role it had in 1939 but it’s still far more than a game ๐Ÿ”— โ€” Excerpt: Sport means nothing if it is not about passion and connection and nowhere is that more sharply defined than in football, as we have witnessed since coronavirus ripped it from our lives in recent weeks and days.

Australia certainly dominated the ICC Womenโ€™s T20 World Cup Final to win their fifth title. Not as competitive a match as their game with India earlier in the tournament suggested it would be, but impressive to watch. ๐Ÿ

Early Sunday morning (UK) watching and listening - coverage of India v Australia in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. ๐Ÿ

I was looking forward to watching the India v England ๐Ÿ semi-final this morning but … Women’s T20 World Cup: England out but India into final after washout ๐Ÿ”—

England playing West Indies in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup - a victory for England will send them through to the semi-finals. ๐Ÿ

ICC Womenโ€™s T20 World Cup ๐Ÿ starts today - good to see full TV coverage in the UK (Sky), plus BBC TMS commentaries. Most matches on at a reasonable UK time too - watching Australia Women v India Women with breakfast this morning.

3rd T20I between South Africa and England - Superb performance by Eoin Morgan to win the game for England. Good game. ๐Ÿ

3rd T20I between South Africa and England - South Africa set a total of 222, some spectacular hitting by the South African batsmen and a difficult total to chase down. ๐Ÿ

Watching the 3rd T20I ๐Ÿ between South Africa and England, the final and decisive T20 match of Englandโ€™s tour of South Africa. I have really enjoyed this series, the Test matches, ODIs and T20 games have all been competitive and entertaining to follow, both on TV and radio (unexpectedly because coverage was on TalkSport rather than BBC TMS).

Outbatted, outbowled, outplayed. New Zealand beat England by an innings and 65 runs in the first Test at Mount Maunganui. An exhibition of how to comprehensively win a 5 day game of cricket. ๐Ÿ

Back to Test cricket - New Zealand play England in the first of two Test matches. Match at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, New Zealand. Morning start in NZ at least means I can watch most of the first session before bedtime in the UK. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ

Not again! England beat New Zealand in super over to win T20 series 3-2. Havenโ€™t watched it yet but sounds like Chris Jordanโ€™s performance was crucial - link ๐Ÿ”—๐Ÿ

England beat New Zealand in the 4th T20 match to level the series 2-2. Good to see an outstanding performance from England after a couple of defeats. Deciding match is at Eden Park, Auckland on Sunday - but from what I’ve heard the weather forecast is not good :( ๐Ÿ

Evening T20 match in New Zealand means that at least Iโ€™m up early enough in the UK to see half the match. NZ chasing Englandโ€™s 241-3 have got their work cut out for them - they started scoring well but have just lost 4 wickets in the last 20 minutes… ๐Ÿ
