Experimenting with a few crossposting ideas between Microblog, 10Centuries and Pnut. Not entirely happy with the way in which links in posts pass through (or don’t!).
Google and Facebook data – Despite myself, I’m quite impressed with the data that Google holds on me, as detailed in Are you ready? This is all the data Facebook and Google have on you. The timeline locations and ‘My Activity’ sections of the data seem particularly comprehensive! In comparison, for me, the download of my Facebook data seems relatively superficial.

Switched my radio on at 4am this morning to listen to a bit of the cricket - England’s first Test against New Zealand. England bowled out for 58 in 20.4 overs in their first innings! Disappointing to say the least. 🏏
Just found an old Acorn A5000 computer at work (monitor doesn’t belong with it). Still boots, but keyboard seems dodgy. No idea what I’m going to do with it!
Another snow day means time to bake some scones (and Scottish shortbread biscuits, and a rosemary and garlic bread)!
Just watched the first three episodes of the BBC’s Troy: Fall of A City. Quite impressed by this realisation of the story. 📺
🏉 Against all expectations I enjoyed Italy-Scotland most today. Don’t know how Wales managed to win against France. Oh well, Six Nations over for another year.
🏉 Italy 27-29 Scotland - disappointed for Italy, played so well for the first hour and probably deserved a win.
