I was very impressed with the ancient cemetery site of Kerameikos in Athens today.
The small museum is excellent and I found the “handshake” reliefs from the cemetery particularly moving. They show the deceased, usually seated, bidding farewell to the living.

Arrived in Athens for a five day stay. In quite a ‘budget’ area but found a little cafe down an arcade that served some great fried seafood dishes and wine at €3 a litre :)

Really enjoyed England vs Wales 🏉 today. Result for England was just about deserved, Jonny May was superb, but weather was atrocious!

Watching Hairy Bikers' Mediterranean Adventure Episode 6/6 Mainland Spain. Some great looking food, especially the tapas, plus some flamenco. How have I missed the rest of this series - going to have to download! 📺
Match ended Italy 15-46 England - Italy deserved probably deserved more, played well, but very happy with England’s performance, the win and the bonus point! Exeter players impressive at the end. Looking forward to next week’s games. 🏉
