The Green Knight, 2021 - ★★★★

Very dark. Very dramatic. Not what I expected - better than that. Unusually I wish I’d read a synopsis of the plot before I watched the film - I think I would have enjoyed this vision of the tale more if I had done so. And I say that having read the poem previously. Be warned!
