Kangaroo, 1986 - ★★★½

Interesting enough. A little slow paced, not hugely charismatic performances (and Colin Friels’ accent is weird!), but it did bring back recollections of the novel. Portrayal of post-WW1 Australian populist fascism seems too familiar to current times to be entirely comfortable - does it never go away?
