Instead of the usual one 1¼ hrs it took us over 2½ hrs to drive to Bristol last night - delays leading up to the Brynglas Tunnel and an accident on the Severn Bridge 😔

But it was made worthwhile by fish and chips at The Hatchet Inn and my first visit to St. George’s. An impressive venue.

Black and white image of a neoclassical church with tall columns and a domed bell tower. The church is at the top of a long flight of steps, bordered by trees and an iron fence. Black and white photo of a stone stairway and railings, surrounded by trees and historic buildings. A sign reads Welcome to St George's Bristol. The scene also includes iron railings and a lamp post. A black and white photograph of a historical church featuring prominent columns and a dome. A streetlamp stands in the foreground, and lush foliage surrounds the church. A person is seated on a bench near the pathway leading to the church. The sky is cloudy.
