Linkblog π: Kavus Torabi and Richard Wileman β Heavenβs Sun π΅
From the shimmering guitars that introduce Particles of Light, youβre immediately on notice that there is something distinctly βotherβ about this collaboration between the Prince of Gong, Kavus Torabi, and Karda Estraβs uncanny composer and solo artist, Richard Wileman.

Old review β M Night Shyamalanβs fast-ageing beach horror is top notch hokum π₯ π
Old is a bit like Alex Garlandβs The Beach, but with a dab of Twilight Zone creepiness and an ensemble cast that Agatha Christie might have imagined. Most of all, I found myself thinking that this could have come from the original series of Star Trek β and that at any moment, William Shatner might beam down among the panicky, deteriorating beach-dwellers, phaser at the ready. Sadly for them, however, these existentially stricken vacationers are on their own.
