@kulturnation Clive James was a regular TV presenter in the UK from the late 70s until at least the late 90s (plus a few programmes beyond that) and a prominent UK newspaper critic and journalist, so I have been aware of him for a long time – but I hadn't realised what an excellent writer - and poet - he was until the last few years. I have also read his volumes of autobiography (light and amusing!) and can recommend his recent collection of essays Latest Readings 📚
