@jasonekratz I use Twitter to follow a number of celebrities/artists/authors I respect, events I attend or am interested in and (mainly tech) brands I use. For a lot of them there’s nowhere else to get the info. I still get value and interest from Twitter without getting dragged into or engaged with anything I don’t like. The power to ignore.

At present I don’t automatically syndicate from Microblog to Twitter. I selectively choose some things to post there because I know some personal friends only follow me there.

I avoid the official Twitter app and its ads when browsing. Twitterrific is terrific!
