Cooked rakott kelkáposzta – Hungarian layered savoy cabbage casserole – last night, using Quorn mince in place of the meat, adding a few chopped mushrooms and chopped roasted carrots and using some smoked paprika in addition to the sweet. I’m not usually a huge fan of Quorn, but it did work very well in this recipe.

Cooked with cime di rapa for the first time last night – spaghetti with cime di rapa, garlic, chilli, lemon and parsley, topped with parmesan – a very simple, tasty meal.

Peace Park, a small park I walk through on my daily commute, looks to have completely flooded in heavy rain last night. A huge pile of bulrushes from a nearby pond is now blocking my path.

Worcestershire set 158 to win in the T20 Blast Final. Another great bowling performance, especially by Ali and Brown. No particular affiliation, but I’ve been impressed by them today and hope Worcestershire prevail. 🏏
