Iโve seen Tarkovskyโs other six films, some more than once. Now Iโve come to Andrei Rublev and of all of them I found this the most difficult to watch. The setting and subjects are just completely unfamiliar to me. Visually impressive and interesting to watch but I needed to refer to a plot synopsis quite a lot to understand events in the film. Iโm sure Iโll watch it again - I need to ๐ซค

So wrapped up in Euro 24 football that I forgot about cricket. Today is the start of the England v West Indies Test series.
The first Test match at Lordโs will be the final international match for Englandโs all-time leading wicket-taker James Anderson.
I will be listening to TMS on the radio for most of the day and possibly catching a little TV coverage. Just hope the weather remains clear enough for the day’s play to go ahead.

The event was cancelled by the organisers at lunchtime today due to flooding at the venue. We had very heavy rain for several hours last night. Summer in Wales! ๐ง๏ธ๐
