As well as (and for some of the time whilst) walking I’ve been listening to the World Test Championship final between Australia and India at The Oval on the radio this morning. Hope to watch some of the TV coverage over the next few days 🏏

Morning walk through local forestry to a nearby scheduled monument, the Carn Castell y Meibion cairn.

I only learned of and found this site recently. It consists of the remains of a Bronze Age ring cairn.

There are two similar monument sites nearby which I’m also going to seek out.
